When healthcare workers in the US cannot get a mask as there is a shortage, the general public should not be wearing one. That is selfish at best.

Yeah because u not wearing a mask will give one to doctors. And not drinking one glass of water will bring water to a thirsty person somewhere else. Maybe, just maybe, we need to produce more masks? Also, by wearing mask and reducing infections WE ARE helping doctors

Very good article. I can tell you that in Italy all the politicians did not want people to wear masks, in order not to trigger a “panic reaction”. They were wrong. By wearing masks Italians could have better contained the virus. Now, basically everyone is wearing them.
