I just solved #GhostBusters for the #C64 for the very first time. Did it on real hardware without emulator save states! I’ve been trying for 37 years—to be fair, I didn’t know you had to press “B” because I didn’t have the instructions… ha. #piracy

If I tell #midjourney to give me some Nintendo-like art, it does produce an easier image to convert to #VIC20 #pixelart format. I just found a worthy suitor to be Wandauvial's betrothed. This only took me about 15 minutes to do! (Albeit, I could probably do some more refining)

I should clarify that when I "wish there was a faster way", it was more of a rhetorical statement. I suspect that there will still be a lot of work to be done by hand if I want to eliminate isolated pixels and produce smoother images for the VIC-20.

I used #midjourney to create an image of Wandauvial, then I cropped and transformed it into an #8bit #pixelart image in #GIMP by hand and converted it to the #VIC20 format. Took me 2 hours to do it. I wish there was a faster way! #CRPG #indiedev #indiegame #RealmsOfQuestVI
