For these types of benefits, they use SSD/SSI guidelines to determine disability status. This ignores disabilities related to mental health as well as VA determinants of disability. Therefore, it most definitely will impact folks who have disabilities.

If somebody was already receiving benefits with a mental health disorder or VA disability why would it change? Correct me if I’m wrong but it’s up to the states to determine this correct? I’m all for helping people & will but the aim is to get abusers off (and there's a ton) no?
