Pharmacists have as much ‘training’ as a PA. There is a bigger picture than if you are looking at at it from a training perspective.
Physicians go through undergrad studies, med school, AND residency. Pharmacists, who possess their own skill set, are NOT physicians.

I am An AZ pharmacist. A pharmacy is not the place for diagnosis. I dread that this will become law and corporate would mandate we prescribe. Liability insurance would skyrocket. The workplace is too hectic and filled with distractions already

The physicians I’ve worked with for 30 years have always had respect for the pharmacists and their deep knowledge about drugs, particularly contraindications and complications of all the medications a patient is taking. They work best as a care team.
