It takes only a couple of days on FBI background check; when you are elected - Congress has the right to impeach Supreme Court Justices. GOP should order the FBI background check into this. Otherwise, this nominee if appointed and found later to have committed this act/impeach
The Senate needs to honor the complexity of this situation. Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s allegation must be given serious consideration before a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court; it cannot be dismissed.
