    While I like comments in code to help me or others work out the what and why of my code, this is bordering on lunacy. This amount of commenting would make me far less likely to ever want to deal with the code. IMO this is idiotic.

    It might be an unpopular opinion but I think commented code is hella super important?!? Self-documenting code is a really worthwhile goal but sometimes code that looks deceptively simple can be almost impenetrable 6 months time! put that extra work in, be *exhaustive*

    Question for any Google devs who work on search: do you have a secret version of the search engine where you can still search for exact matches? Searching for anything with a special character in it is just pointless these days.

    This is the kind of hard headed refusal to work with other platforms that makes me despise big organisations like Google trying to force tech in their direction. BSDs exist and are here en masse.

    Shame I missed the actual day, but I've just finished reading Mavis Batey's book on Dilly Knox and it points out how many more truly remarkable people were at Bletchley than just Alan Turing
