The will vote this Tuesday, 1/24, on a motion to extend emergency tenant protections through 6/30/23.
This would give incorporated cities more time to implement their own permanent protections, since they are not covered by the county's permanent protections.

Most judges overseeing eviction cases are landlords and universally all of them are homeowners. Almost all politicians writing laws are landlords and almost all are homeowners. We can't expect tenant justice to come from the courts or government without mass tenant organizing.
