Rep Yoho apologizing on House floor right now for nasty remarks to AOC. but says he can't apologize for his "passion, loving my God, my family or my country. "

I missed that aspect. I was still reeling from the whole "passion for god" was mentioned as an excuse.

His loving god being Trump will probably tell him never to apologize especially to women. Makes you feel weak.

"Jesus told me to say mean things!" is not an intellectually-honest defense. It's also a lie, and it's a lie about the son of God, so it seems like a pretty bad long-term strategy.

Yeah, I don't the Jesus he is supposed to be a believer in would approve of such and apology either. But let's be real, almost no one actually believes in the God they say they do. Their actions, and after actions, always proves this.

There’s no BUT’ in an apology - didn’t your parents teach you that Yoho ? He needs to be censured or resign
