It’s not a strawman—just do the math on what % of humanity is one or more of {racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, …}, bearing in mind that failing to toe the progressive party line on even one category makes you a “bigot.”

no, it does not. (a) it accuses someone else of having that motivation (b) ... jokingly
-
joking in the same sense that a dude hitting on someone at a party retroactively decides they're joking after being rebuffed, maybe.
-
I envy you your telepathy, where you can always tell what my motivations are. You know that I'm red tribe, seeing through my actual words. You know that I'm a Nazi. etc. It's truly amazing.
-
Apologies for not respecting how you choose to self-identify, but given the context (tweets approving of actions taken by nazis as a precursor to genocide) I'm not inclined to interpret your statements with the maximum amount of charity.
-
You're welcome to use any heuristic you want, but when you chose heuristics that lead you to incorrect conclusions, it makes me think that you're engaging in a strategy of "being wrong to own the (maybe ?) red tribe people". If you don't value being correct, go for it.
-
sorry, but I just don't find your deniability plausible. You haven't pointed out an out-and-out incorrect statement I've made, just ones that don't treat you with as much charity as you feel you deserve.
-
I think you mean "you don't find my denials" plausible? OK, fine. As I said, you're free to use whatever heuristics you want. Also, I've never asked you to use charity; that was someone else. Pay attention; details matter!
-
It was a pun on plausible deniability. Also, you may not have used that specific phrase, but what is the quoted tweet if not an appeal for charity? (specifically, wrt the claim that you were just joking about your approval of certain nazi actions) https://twitter.com/MorlockP/status/1054826921203261441 …

the joke is that he doesn't like Nazis and doesn't want to like Nazis "Stalin pushed for a return to traditional gender norms" "UGH stop trying to make me like Stalin" you would hardly infer the speaker was a Stalinist sympathizer no?
-
if said person's tweets and immediate social group contained a whole bunch of hammer-and-sickle emoji havers I might.
-
Does . . . does MP have swastikas in his TL
-
I saw a whole shitload of helicopter emojis bios & usernames. Let's say in context it's equivalent to our hypothetical USSR sympathizer having a whole bunch of friends who're awfully fond of the PRC

Hitler was a vegetarian and loved dogs. If a dog-loving vegetarian found that out and said “WTF now I love Nazis!”, calling that person a “Nazi sympathizer” would be inaccurate, in that it ignores the tone and context of the exclamation. tl;dr
@MorlockP is just memeing, bro. -
yeah destroying research as a precursor to tossing people related to the research you're burning into camps is totally equivalent to enacting animal rights laws, this is definitely an argument that you are making in good faith
