The joke works by positing destroying X and Y (normal things) could make you like something indefensible (Nazis), thus conveying hyperbolically that you really hate X and Y. The joke only works if Nazis are indefensible.

Wut? The first sentence follows a joke pattern, as in, "what's that you say? X? [funny/surprising observation about X.]" It reads like standard-fare edgelord humor to me.
