Did you know that half of AWS customers are using Lambda? Super excited to share this report on how developers and organizations are building with serverless

Normally there are AWS SDK commits every day. There have been none this week. There are 3 main dead weeks at AWS as told by their SDK commits: - Week 5 (this week): Annual review period I'm told - Week 15: Aligns with April 15 when taxes are due - Week 52: Christmas/New Years

Just finished listening to another great episode from , this time with one of the few people who's Lambda knowledge I envy, – thanks for the shoutout too! 🙏

Python 3.7 EOL lines up with the 2023-06 date as I noted here, so I'm hoping that'll be true for provided runtimes too.

Can some ppl weigh in here? – where can we find details on when the current Amazon Linux runtimes will be supported until?

So, some clarification from AWS on EOL for Amazon Linux, but no word on Lambda runtimes that I can see (esp custom runtimes). I'm hoping that means they will be supported until maintenance support ends? (June 30, 2023)

Cool analysis by , but this title should really be "CDN URLs in HTML are almost never updated". If you did an analysis of npm installs, then you'd be able to make this claim (but I suspect things would look quite different)

Slow clap for for this legit use of double quotes inside single quotes inside double quotes, all ending at once.

If it only happened on one Lambda, then I'd be tempted to think it was an eventual consistency / rollout issue. But rollbacks on *all* 16 runtimes?

    Specifically, my nodejs10.x Lambda has gone backwards from 10.18.0 to 10.17.0, nodejs12.x from 12.14.1 to 12.13.0, python3.6 from 3.6.10 to 3.6.9, python3.7 from 3.7.6 to 3.7.5, python3.8 from 3.8.1 to 3.8.0 and ca-certificates-2019 package back to ca-certificates-2018 🤔🤔🤔
