    Today I discovered that if you start The Karate Kid, and as the Columbia Pictures torch flashes red you hit play on Leonard Bernstein's score to On The Waterfront, then absolutely nothing syncs up and the whole thing is an unholy mess.

    Dreamed that the coastal waters of Britain were teeming with alligators the size of houseboats that snapped up swimmers by rushing vertically from the depths and leaping out of the water with them locked in their jaws. Something to look forward to in 2021, maybe.

    It's a bit like stumbling out of a cave system and being suddenly bathed in light. No idea what tomorrow will bring, but at 5am this morning I found myself running around Brockwell Park with the faint stars and the illuminated London skyline, and it was bliss to be alive. 2/2

    We talk more about depression these days, which is good. I still find it hard. But I will say that every now and again I find myself waking and knowing that for whatever reason I've come to the end of one of the cycles that hit me every few months. 1/2
