    Hi Helen, it was a good plan, enabled by the lovely people and the brilliant ethos and a good and healthy attitude . And the skill and vision . The tea and biscuits in the BL canteen also helped of course.

    Not rude but is it effective to convey what we want to say? That digitisation is one element of the many activities required to preserve information stored on obsolete physical carriers. Job not done: Digitisation is not enough.

    Decided to draw some obsolete physical carriers after this topic arose at both and . Would it be rude to get this printed on a tote bag to use at events such as these? Good prompt for discussion on why is not !
