I wish the landings weren’t as emphasized in college gymnastics as they are. It’s like nothing else matters besides sticking the dismount. Idc about a tiny hop. Reward the gymnast for what she’s doing on the apparatus as much as what she’s doing to get off of it.

I’m honestly not as mad about the number of 10s as I am about the overall high scoring. Like yes some of the 10s should be 9.95s but the more egregious violation (to me) are the 9.9s that really should be 9.75s. We’re not separating routines at all.
