    NRSI Bat Crew Kayla MacLellan, Amy Reinert, Heather Fotherby and Christy Humphrey . Christy and Heather presented a poster on the results of their research tracking Eastern Small-footed Bats to roosts on the Niagara Escarpment.

    Collecting data on used and available overwintering locations at our Jefferson Salamander study site. These resourceful creatures use rodent burrows to access underground trail networks. In a few weeks we will be using ground penetrating radar to see if we can get a trail map!

    This beautiful ratsnake (a "lifer" for me) was implanted with a radio transmitter and released today. It will be tracked by and to gather critical habitat info to inform conservation efforts in Ontario.
