This is INSANE. I now have 200 - TWO HUNDRED - takedowns against this one channel, and it’s still online and monetized. Hey @SusanWojcicki have you guys changed the "3 strikes rule" to the “200 Strikes Rule”? This far exceeds red flag knowledge & repeat infringer thresholds.

We want to make sure takedown requests are complete and valid (the law requires complete requests) and sometimes that can take extra checks on our side, which delays the takedown slightly. If it’s been more than 72 hours, let us know.

These 207 videos are already taken down, only about 20 more are in review mode. So why is this channel still live and monetized if it has 207 takedowns applied in the past 48 hours?

As always it’s one rule for some and one rule for everyone else on YouTube. The last few months especially have shown that oh so clearly. I used to be such a big fan of the platform but now I just hope that a more ethical competitor will hurry up and come along.

Yep: the subjective thresholds are 1) subscriber count 2) per-video view counts 3) level of monetization 4) territory of the uploader. Don’t even get me started on YT’s premium uploader service that bypasses Content ID entirely...
