Normally this would mean she can't sign a standard/rest-of-season contract for 10 more days. However, the CBA has a rule that players who are waived/terminated within 7 days of the midpoint of the season can be signed immediately after the midpoint. The midpoint? Last night.
This could be a fluke, but if they were indeed released last night, the unique timing suggests Clarendon could be back, and back for good, pretty soon.
