Cracking day in the sunshine carrying out our annual 🦇hibernation checks & after ten years of the boxes being up in trees we finally had a bat in one! Good to find 4 bats in one of the caves too (📷taken under licence)

Very exciting to hear about this proposed wetland creation scheme tonight, it would be superb to see adjacent land owners link up to deliver a bigger, better, wetter & wilder plan!

I bought a bamboo toothbrush, As I’d like to save the planet, I bought it for each kittiwake and albatross, and gannet, To try to send a message out To everyone like me, Who always bought the plastic ones, Which end up in the sea.
