Agreed. I do question, however, his criticism of the use of technology as a means to overthrow Hegemony. Perhaps I am naïve, but I think a balance could be achieved (in harmony with particular technologies) as a means for revolution. EX: hacking, ghost gunner, etc

If technology is allowed it's continued growth it will sniff out the human soul
-
I'm afraid that technology has already robbed us of our proverbial souls...
-
That is why we must destroy it
-
It is the means by which something is "destroyed" that proves problematic. I don't endorse the use of force or coercion, not even pre-emptively, but I admit that the passivity of non-agression is akin to "not making a decision" whilst we are facing dystopic self-cannibalization.
-
Fuck "problematic" we have to destroy this society and its chains before it is too late. We are all addicted and held in its malevolent sway, the allure of our screens will destroy everything we used to value. There are so many aspects to this world that must change.
-
I sympathize with that perspective. I suppose I need to find a solution to my hypocrtical thoughts (the dichotomy of the importance of non-agression vs. the acknowledgement of a very real and gravely serious problem of particulatlr organizational-technologies).
