The industry awards thing I was at last night was compered by , and I just want to acknowledge the skill it takes to keep up the energy and enthusiasm while handing out awards to 600 mortally pissed people who work in recruitment marketing. He was INCREDIBLE.

The best thing about wine-fuelled work events is when someone says something in vino veritas that makes you realise you've been doing it all wrong. Have woken up with a 10/10 hangover and 2/10 self-esteem, so that's nice.
