Correct. 1. People of color who are subject to oppression, cannot be racist in this country. 2. Whatever tone you think you want to assign to her tweet, consider how you'd feel if you were subject to racism daily, then stop assuming her intent. 3. She is doing anti racism work.

#1 seems wrong... what about asians or latinx that hate black people? What about black people that hate latinx people? Did you mean to say, you can't be racist against the oppressor? #2 I dont think anyone cares about her intent... what shes saying is bad.

Prejudice is not the same as racism. Hate coupled with power (to create laws, discriminate systemically, etc) is what creates racism. And before judging what she says, read her posts and watch her videos so you can hear where she's coming from.

Considering she just almost single handedly got a white person removed from a conference probably affecting their economic and mental well being, i'de say thats hate coupled with power. Also, its a poor definition. Again, how would it address a latinx store owner refusing blacks?

So your concern is the white man excluded from a conference and not the scores of black and brown women and men who were harassed and treated like dirt by the man that that Charles is defending... Cool story.

Im concerned for both. John deserves criticism, and if it was John getting removed from a conference for violating their policies I wouldn't say a word. Charles does not deserve punitive action. He was canned for "tone policing..." fucking wild!

Where did Linux say he was removed for tone policing?

He mentioned it in a tweet. But lets say thats a lie, do you have a better description of his actions that justifies punitive action? He never supported John, he explicitly said he was against the kind of language John used... What else is there?

I see. So you took his word for it rather than believing people of color and what they expressed about Charles over the past week or so. The deference to a white man vs the people he has caused harm to, is pretty blatant.

Oh jeezus christ... I think im done... For the record, no one disagreed that that was the reason for his firing. As far as I know that's the only version of events. Anyways, bye

Ah but you fed into an inaccurate version then used it to gaslight and pile on a black woman who is speaking out about racism. I'm glad you're done
