I think you've got a troll on your hands that's just using social media to harm someone that she doesn't like - quite possibly due to the color of his skin.

Oh stop. You haven't read the tweets that simple brogrammer wrote from 2 of his accounts plus a couple fake ones where he used stolen pix of people of color right? That's what Charles was defending on YouTube. You havent read any of it have you? Just came here to defend your bros

Correct. 1. People of color who are subject to oppression, cannot be racist in this country. 2. Whatever tone you think you want to assign to her tweet, consider how you'd feel if you were subject to racism daily, then stop assuming her intent. 3. She is doing anti racism work.

#1 seems wrong... what about asians or latinx that hate black people? What about black people that hate latinx people? Did you mean to say, you can't be racist against the oppressor? #2 I dont think anyone cares about her intent... what shes saying is bad.

Prejudice is not the same as racism. Hate coupled with power (to create laws, discriminate systemically, etc) is what creates racism. And before judging what she says, read her posts and watch her videos so you can hear where she's coming from.

Considering she just almost single handedly got a white person removed from a conference probably affecting their economic and mental well being, i'de say thats hate coupled with power. Also, its a poor definition. Again, how would it address a latinx store owner refusing blacks?

So your concern is the white man excluded from a conference and not the scores of black and brown women and men who were harassed and treated like dirt by the man that that Charles is defending... Cool story.

Im concerned for both. John deserves criticism, and if it was John getting removed from a conference for violating their policies I wouldn't say a word. Charles does not deserve punitive action. He was canned for "tone policing..." fucking wild!

Where did Linux say he was removed for tone policing?

And if you're actually concerned about those that were harassed, then go spend your time address John and his defenders, like Charles. Otherwise it just looks like you're here to pile on top of the black woman.
