On being denied hormones, Ashley says: "They were like, we're not gonna give you that. The state of GA was gonna make a man out of me. And I was told that often. 4 years of not having hormones, for the first time in my life I had facial hair. I was crying, vomiting all the time."

Ashley's lawyers at @theCCR recently released a statement detailing the sexual assault she's experienced since being re-incarcerated in 2019, including at the hands of prison staff.
