really amusing to see the people who didn’t care when employees lost their jobs for refusing a mandate freaking out now that it’s pilots and might affect their travel plans

Plus, how many of those people also believe that climate change is a huge threat to our future?

It’s not real for most until it affects them personally. Most of our society is still sleepwalking through this, hoping for “normal” at some point if they just do what they’re told. That’s the real pandemic.

Here, it's also firefighters, corrections officers, teachers, school admin, bus drivers, police, etc. It's going to be a tough call when the consequences are really felt. I mean, it's kinda permanent when nobody shows up to do CPR.

It's the same as all those in gated communities who were cheering on last years 'Summer of Love' but started freaking out when the 'mostly peaceful protests' got near where they live.

This is coming from the same group of people who say “protest are meant to make you feel uncomfortable” and now that they’re uncomfortable they hate it 😂

1. These are the same people who preach love and empathy and equality
2. They laugh until it causes an inconvenience.
Think of all the people missing their work, schedules, etc messed up by this! I'm glad this is all backfiring because it's unbelievably absurd.
