      Rep. Lofgren, senior Dem, on Judiciary, backed up Pelosi after. Several Judiciary Dems complained after some Republicans didn’t wear masks during the hearing. Rep. Andy Levin follows Lofgren, saying it’s an issue of “toxic masculinity.”

          “One approach could be in citing House Rule 11, committee chairs have the power to punish breaches of decorum and can exclude members who fail to comply,” per senior Dem aide. “Speaker could order her chairs to enforce this for failing to wear a mask/face covering.”

          Also, interestingly, the police reform bill barely came up on today’s call. Dems had two speakers — Govs Whitmer and Inslee. Pelosi brought you the bill at conclusion of call: “Great progress ... but we really have to get the job done, people want to see action"

          Remember, House Judiciary Cmte will mark up the bill on Wednesday. Then full House will vote next week, June 25. Dems have enough support to pass bill without Republicans. Unclear if any Rs will sign on — Dems had been trying to recruit mods like Hurd over the last week
