        Screenshot tweet of a New York Times article about a wedding in "the metaverse". The wedding took place in a virtual conferencing program called "Virbela", which has existed since 2013. A reply to the tweet: "Facebook has done the impossible, made second life but shittier". Because the word "metaverse" was used, the replier was confused into believing it was a Facebook product.

        True. 15 year Second Life Veteran here. My only question is. Why isn't @SecondLife taking advantage of the #Metaverse Rush and implement VR capabilties and Blockchain Economy? Why fall behind when they were so early?
