You will only be tested for #COVID19 if you develop a respiratory illness and: - returned from overseas, or have been in close contact with a confirmed case, in the past 14 days - are a healthcare worker, with a fever, who works directly with patients. http://health.gov.au/resources/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-frequently-asked-questions …pic.twitter.com/GW5nin9nzE

You realise community transmission has been occurring for at least 2 weeks now right? Italy/Spain 2.0

Peter Dutton, of course, had no problem being tested … wonder why?

How does this fit with WHO ‘test, test, test’? And fact that transmission can occur if people asymptomatic?

They’re testing as much as they can, they’re just making sure they don’t run out of test kits.

Not good enough! Anyone with flu-like symptoms needs to be tested for the coronavirus. Don't deny that there is community transmission. We need to know how much community transmission there is!

Why are you so bad at this? Everyone a doctor thinks should be tested... should be tested. This protocol leaves everyone way behind the eight ball. Just one person not being picked up could leave thousands exposed within a few days.

because no-one else has Covid 19, right. Not even the person who caught it from the person who was o/s or in close contact with a confirmed case. You do know this thing is transmissible between ppl. It's like u think there is 1 person wandering around infecting everyone else.

They're obviously not expecting a patient 31 here. Whereas in reality we could have already had 31 patient 31s' here. I dunno....how many ppl has Dutton infected while he was asymptomatic ? Not testing everyone with symptoms regardless is negligent imho.https://twitter.com/girlsreallyrule/status/1239171993100005376?s=21 …

South Korea was doing a fantastic job of controlling #COVIDー19 for the first 30 patients. Then #Patient31 came along, did not adhere to social distancing and caused 2 clusters that were responsible for 80% of South Korea's infections. Don't be #Patient31. https://graphics.reuters.com/CHINA-HEALTH-SOUTHKOREA-CLUSTERS/0100B5G33SB/index.html …
