Never understood not voting. It's the one moment when you actually have a say in how you are governed. Its one of the fundamental rights in a democracy. Apathy gives you someone else's politicians. It's compulsory here in Oz but I voted in Canada and the Uk when I lived there.

I think for a long time, the 2 parties have just been establishment parties-and many ppl didn't see a big diff. Though the Dems have gone establishment, it has hurt them-but the GOP is out and out fascist. So there is a big difference now.
