@AlWest13 i don't feel that you're a person to be taken seriously anymore (i once did) because of your insults.
@AlWest13 you need to work on understanding the biological definition of altruism more: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altruism#Evolutionary_explanations … nepotism *is* altruistic.

@hbdchick But okay, I get it - eusociality, if you prefer. -
@AlWest13 i think eusociality is too strong of a word. makes me think of ants or bees or naked mole rates. humans aren't *that* eusocial. -
@hbdchick This is true, but what's the opposite of clannishness, in your view? What word do you use for the least clannish societies? -
@AlWest13 i usually use something like "oriented toward the commonweal" or universalistic. haven't settled on a term.

@hbdchick Nepotism isn't a term from biology & altruism originally isn't either.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@hbdchick I understand the biological definition, but since 'nepotism' is a social word, I used 'altruism' in the same way.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
