@michaelshermer These #HBD people would see anything as genetic in spite of demonstrable evidence of cultural change without genetic change.

@hbdchick@christopherburd Actually, I did answer that (presume you haven't seen it). it doesn't seem to come from genetic variation. -
@AlWest13 guess i missed it. where does it come from then? can you please offer references to studies showing where it comes from. thanks! -
@hbdchick It comes from humans observing the world and acting on those observations. Barely a role for gen. vari. to play. -
@AlWest13 ok. so what you're saying is that you've never read anything about biology and genetics and behavior. that's ok! (^_^) -
@hbdchick Of course I have. But genetic *variation* is not behind cultural *variation* even if genes r behind *origin* of culture. Different -
@AlWest13 no! *no* different! only different in your mind. you must *unlearn* what you have learned. (~_^) -
@hbdchick The only reason for thinking they're the same is a kind of 19th C pseudoscience. Or 'HBD', as they're calling it these days. -
@AlWest13 nope. it's a 21st century science. it's called genetics (and biology). biology 101. read up on it someday. it's pretty cool!
