Is there a UX term for using a feature for a purpose it wasn’t designed for? That’s most of my Soundcloud usage. Like to trigger offline mobile download. Repost as super like. Comment at time stamp so I can bookmark a part of a continuous mix I really like.
My favorite example is how most users don't save and then close Word documents. They close first, then save in the popup. A backup feature that became the primary option.
