    On nice days like today, WYDOT crews are busy working on jobs like guardrail repairs, signage, pavement patching & striping. Slow down & move over for WYDOT workers, Highway Patrol Troopers & emergency vehicles like ambulances or tow trucks on the side of the highway.

    This storm is moving east at 5 MPH. TRAVELERS: Winds in excess of 30 mph and large amounts of rainfall will be possible with this storm. This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 295 and 302!

    Today is ! Motorists, remember to keep 3 ft between you & a cyclist. Slow down until it's safe to pass. Bicyclists, use lighting & bright clothing to make yourself visible & obey road rules Whether it's a bike helmet or a seat belt, always buckle up!

    Overall great travel conditions expected again today, with some chances for isolated rain/thunderstorms. In inclement weather, be sure to turn your cruise control off and headlights on. No matter the weather, put your phone down and buckle up!

    Locally dense fog is expected to continue this morning across southeast Wyoming before lifting by noon today. Please use caution while traveling along Interstate 25 and Interstate 80.

    WYDOT crews will be paving on WYO 219/Yellowstone Road today & tomorrow, weather permitting. The road will be closed NB near mm 4, with a detour using WYO 211/Horse Creek Rd to I-25/US 85 SB traffic will not be detoured but may see delays Take it slow

    Paving work is complete on WYO 219/Yellowstone Rd. in Cheyenne. No detours remain in place.

    At 324 PM MDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 8 miles east of Cheyenne, moving northeast at 10 mph. Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail are possible with this storm. This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 370 and 374.
