  13. A3: Take action on the results. If you don’t, you’re broadcasting that the whole endeavor was just a pointless exercise, and you don’t really value engagement at all. Nope. Bad.

  14. A3 Seems simple, but it's not done enough. Have company leaders walk around, do a lunch-time chat where they get to hear from employees directly. Have managers take the pulse on engagement of their teams. Make it clear you don't want only good news.

    A2. Customer Relationship Research provides some tools for better understanding engagement. That area measures commitment to the brand, using 4 basic questions (one of which is satisfaction). The commitment model could be adapted to measure engagement.
