Surely
#workingfromhome relieves many of the associated stresses of a traditional working day. Three trains cancelled and dashing around like a blue arsed fly for example. It's also eminently safer, with people not wearing masks in their droves it seems, and Covid still rife! -
Whenever I see anyone complaining about people
#workingfromhome you look a little closer and you see it's either someone with a property portfolio, a manager, or merely projection.Show this thread -
Well
#workingfromhome has been a godsend. I get more done and don't end up wasting my life commuting either. And to anyone who says it stagnates your career, I was promoted to a manager role in the midst of it all.
-
#workingfromhome@BorisJohnson We 'obeyed' you while you were breaking the rules, don't you dare tell me to get back to the office, I am more productive and can work longer and better in my spare room than i ever could in a busy office full of chatter -
Since
#workingfromhome our company has seen record profits and listed on the stock market, I've had a promotion and manage a team, my mental health has never been better and I haven't been ill in over two years. Stop letting out of touch old white men tell you how to live.Show this thread -
Big clap for this woman for talking sense. The
#CivilService is being demonised by the Govt for#workingfromhome. Shameful passive aggressive note from JRM encouraging them to be beck in the office#BBCQT#BBCQuestionTime#QuestionTime pic.twitter.com/rjtvvP9Boe

I've been
#workingfromhome for 30 years. If the cheese didn't always stay in the fridge at least no one ever told me I wasn't allowed to eat it! I worked hard. No I didn't make it big. I made it small & happy and all my kids are well adjusted unlike some Johnsons. -
#workingfromhome: I have larger monitors. I work later because I don't need to travel. I work while sick and contaminate no one. I'm more rested as no commute. I can concentrate. Productivity is better. Only some of these benefit me more than my employer. -
And even when they do turn up at their place of work some wasters just lounge around, getting paid and waiting for the bell to ring.

#workingfromhome Working from home is the future.Everyone benefits, from the pets, that get more company,to the children who are able to get to know Mum & Dad better. The carbon footprint is lower, and there is no more bullying in the workplace. Rock on I say!! -
#workingfromhome really opens up the job market for single mums, makes life so much easier to do the school run and fit work around children. -
I unintentionally work longer hours when working from home. It's so much harder to turn off the laptop! Anyone else?

One of the biggest reason people enjoy working at home is because they're not having the arse ripped out of them relentlessly by train companies whose service is utterly shit, doesn't run on time and is more expensive in London than any other city.

It's true you know,
#workingfromhome does not work... for commercial landlords and property investors.Show this thread -
#workingfromhome I've been working from home for over 2 years, since the start of the Pandemic. I take shorter lunch breaks, work longer hours (no commute) and more work is being done. But dear Boris thinks I can't be trusted to. -
#workingfromhome I have been WFH since the start of lockdown March 2020. I love it,as a result I now have over £5000 worth of savings which I did not previously have prior to lockdown. Johnson & Madeley are clearly judging everyone else by their own lazy & backwards standards. -
I got a new job because my new company adopted
#workingfromhome. Realising they can hire based on talent rather than location. I'm also a introvert so it suits me

-
UK TV is dominated by dinosaurs who hate the modern world and are averse to progress. I am looking at you, Richard Madeley.

Can’t bear the headlines that staff aren’t working at home but bunking off, eating, walking dogs - so patronising. Nothing could be further from the truth. It’s about outcomes not the location you do it from! And that’s measurable.

Mom made sure Nash and I had a great weekend so now I’m helping her pick up the house.
