    Riders shouldn’t have to dream for safe, reliable transit that runs more frequently more hours of the day than what we’ve been forced to accept during SafeTrack, then made worse with the pandemic service cuts. We. Deserve. Better.

    Metro set pandemic records for rail ridership both last Wednesday & Thursday. But even those two days ridership was only a little over a fifth of the pre-pandemic weekday average. On Wednesday riders made 138,000 trips, Thursday it was 139K. 2019 average was 626K.

    what about the air exchange on buses? ? ? Also: it's like...a year after it *should* have been discussed. After and both published detailed information about their trains. And after raised the question with staff.

    JUST IN: It’ll be a rough summer on Metro’s Red Line. From 7/17-8/29 there’ll be all-day single tracking between Dupont Circle & Van Ness, with trains arriving less often on the entire Red Line.
