We cannot hide from the fact that we're in a crisis. We have to act now. All of us. We have to change our minds and change our ways. And if we do... the planet will continue to be the most beautiful place in our universe.

Changes in day length and genetics are believed to trigger the mountain hare to change colour. A changing climate, means less snow on the plateau leaving these mountain mammals with nowhere to hide.

As
@BBCSpringwatch have just said, Shetland is certainly one of the best places to see otter, especially with your trail camera! I take and set lots of trail cams when I guide there in June with@ShetlandWild Here’s a clip I captured last June!#Winterwatch@BushnellNaturepic.twitter.com/oVtZptNZNN -

Say hello to our beautiful treecreeper!

Treecreepers roughly weigh about 10 grams and excavate holes out of sequoia tree bark to sleep in at night! HOW cute?!

What a great short film to see on Winterwatch. A young woman's search for orca, and the relief from anxiety she can get when out in nature. Helped me, I'm so glad it helps her too. @BBCSprinbgwatch

Morning folks! Remember to keep those feeders stocked up to give our garden birds a helping had! A mixture of seeds, nuts and fat balls are always a winner!

Plenty of action on our bird feeder experiment! But it seems there's a particular goldfinch ruling the roost.

Wow! A jack snipe!!!
Smaller than a snipe with a shorter bill they are secretive birds and not often seen! They crouch down in the reeds and have very camouflaged plumage! Excellent footage!

Check out this excellent kingfisher footage sent to us by ddlane7 on Flickr
Brilliant! Kingfishers can dive head first into the water at speeds up 25mph!
