    Above Ham Hill & the site of a lost white chalk horse. A porridge bowl sky over far reaching views. The surprise of 4 in the thick, knotty thorn hedge, under gobbling fieldfare & redwing. They are just hanging on here; thought to be the last in Berkshire.

  12. This chromatically challenged beauty is my first ever Scottish ! Utter joy to get great views & hear the song/calls but saddened by the horrendous decline in the UK population. Let's hope efforts to reverse the fortunes of 'kleinschmidti' are a success.

    in Finland has been so intensive and harsh, that even formerly common species, like , are in trouble. In 2016 it was classified as on the Red List because of population declines.

    from our project! Looks like the first Willow Tit's of the year have fledged at Carlton Marsh! Can't wait to see how the amazing work the team are doing in the Dearne Valley will help this species numbers in the years to come...

    Our new has been an incredible success! So far we've had the , Slow-worm, Pasqueflower, Black-tailed Godwit and this week we've added the stunning Duke of Burgundy Butterfly! If you see any of them - let us know - & ! Can't wait to see more!
