    If you’d like to get an idea of what it can be like on the ground here leading up to a rescue, I made this little video beforehand. Ideally you’ll have at least two people but I was alone, help was far away and she was in poor condition.

    I just rescued this beautiful joey who was by herself, high up in a dead tree. She has burns on her nose, cheek and ears. Finding her broke my heart but she’s seen the vet now and with care, she’s going to be ok.

  16. The baby blackbirds who arrived as featherless nestlings are now ready to go out into the big wild world. It’s a slow process of building their confidence until they leave their cage on to a branch which is propping open the window. 4 songbirds back in the wild😊

  17. All creatures great & small! Well from one extreme to the other. From a mighty heron to a tiny wee mousie who has lost his mum to a predator & also has a gash to his tummy. I’m not sure how this is going to pan out & if he will make it. However,he’s very precious

  18. . Can you remember the tiny duckling who had difficulty getting out of her shell & got left behind? Well this is her now. I cannot release her as a single duck so am patiently integrating her with the older ducklings so she has a family of her own 🦆

  19. Troopers called to an Elk in a fence. With some brute force, Troopers untangled the legs. Then she did the rest, pulling her head out of the fence. The Elk had some minor cuts, but otherwise was uninjured.
