    A light reading month for me but I am happy with it overall. My favorite for the month is easily Becoming by Michelle Obama—I highly recommend this as an audiobook. She just won a Grammy for it!

    The first post of 2020! I am kicking myself for not reading Civilwarland sooner; the author’s note is the perfect pick-me-up for cold winter days when writing is slow. Also loved this collection from Randall Brown . It’s short and smart.

  6. Well, I didn't finish any of the four I am in the middle of, so those will be on my February reads. Mental slumps sure get in the way of my reading pleasures.

    This was great. I literally could not put it down! I needed to know what happened, especially about 3/4 of the way in. I highly recommend it. It’s kind of funny.

    Love this. It was a decade with younger children, so I read less but maybe more expansively than before. The Odyssey Eleanor and Park Americanah Little The Hate You Give The Giver The Penderwicks Kindred Le Roman de Silence Come Sing, Jimmy Jo
