    Shadowing is better defined as Action Research and should include patients, families, and caregivers. Doctors deserve deeper understanding from developers.

    I found my niche in nursing after a suffering a stroke and almost giving up. Practicing since 1996, I’m now a proud telephone triage nurse, contemplating going back to school to advance my career even further. Now I make money doing what I used to do for free!

    That is an excellent idea ! - at the beginning, it was patients who voted for better care. At the end of this, it is patients who matter. So yes, speak up for the care you need. That is what unites us.

    I have buried two people I love this year - my best friend of 50 years and my father. I have a MD. Both the people I buried had PhDs. So we, indeed, are all patients. ‘Fancy’ letters don’t disqualify us.
