  9. Oh my goodness! I didn't know that today was the anniversary of the 1918 Representation of the People Act being granted Royal Assent. A perfect coincidence on the day my Suffragette novel The Secret Letter is published.

  10. Today marks 102 years since the Representation of the People Act, this meant that all men over 21 and women over 30 (with property) could vote. All women over 21 could vote from 1928 🗳️
