The old one-eyed Puma is still walking the trails. We have had a continuous change in the individuals inhabiting this area over the years, some male, some female and they stay for varying amounts of time. This one has been here for over a year.

So what happened last week on the Titi Trail. Well this is the last cat sighting of 2109, an Ocelot, (Leopardis pardalis), walked by just before dawn. We look forward to seeing what graces the trail in the coming year.

Large groups of White-nosed Coatis, (Nasua narica), regularly pass along the trails. They are related to raccoons and will eat anything. The males are solitary so this is a collection of females with young.

Most of the night and 500 exposures to make this time lapse of the Milky Way rising above the Osa Peninsula, Costa Rica. This is part of a larger project. Tomorrow I might try and get the Lyrid meteor shower.

Waiting for the Milky Way to rise above the Pacific Ocean, I managed to take 180 shots for a time lapse. Unfortunately the clouds came and obliterated the view. But I managed to put a short video together It is always amazing to see so many stars in the sky
