    During the floor debate, I asked if my Jewish Mexican-American daughter would be forced to endure her teacher present *both sides* of Charlottesville and the phrase, “The Jews will not replace us.” The Texas Legislature said yes. And here we are.

    I gave this quote four months ago. Today an administrator in Southlake, Texas advised teachers to give an “opposing” view on the Holocaust. I wish we had been wrong about House Bill 3979.

    You know what hasn't been added to the call? Anything to fix the loophole that allows gas suppliers to opt out of regulation for $150, leaving us vulnerable to outages this winter. So Texas will regulate whether businesses can require vaccines but not gas supply. Got it.

    NEW: Texas Gov. bans any COVID vaccine requirements by *any* entity in the state. Adds this issue to the current special session agenda.
