The
#tskit project is recruiting a Python software engineer, based in Oxford. Your dev expertise can shape the next generation of big-data genomics, as part of a diverse and inclusive open-source community. Just released
#tskit 0.2.3. Nice mix of bugfixes, perf improvements (thanks@benjeffery!) and new features. Highlights are the KC distance metric for trees from@WilderWohns, and a bunch of ts manipulations from@DrYanWong. Share and enjoy! http://tskit.readthedocs.io/en/stable/changelogs.html#id1 … -
The goal of
#tskit is to be the "numpy for genomics": a high-quality, cross- language and -platform library of fundamental operations for genetics. We've done a lot, but there's a lot more to do and we need some great engineers on the team! https://tskit.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Prikaži ovu nit -
Cool, spot

this is working well for us at
#tskit -
Worth buying a little more RAM to stuff this one into memory. There's a fair mention of
#tskit stuff: would be interested to critique the finer points with you,@jeromekelleher -
#tskit ftw in that area. -
The native output is a
#tskit tree sequence, which stores the complete genetic history of the simulation, is very compact and efficient to process. Stdpopsim can support any simulation engine outputting tskit (#msprime now, SLiM soon, others maybe?). https://tskit.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Prikaži ovu nit -
great piece by my bud
@JosephNardone, looking forward to it being the year of tskit#ahhhh#tskit#tskit#tskit https://twitter.com/crossoverNBA/status/651056253595217920 … -
Bye!!
#Tskit. :( -
His face fell when he realized that the major increase in followers was largely due to spam bots masquerading as willing wenches.
