    A1: Teaching is hard. Things will go wrong. It gets messy. It's not because you are a new teacher...it's because you are a teacher. It will still be hard later, too...but it is worth it. Don't think it is unique to you or that YOU are messing up. You can't do this alone.

    A6) Give them everything. Don't make them ask. Drop a thumbdrive with everything you've made and tell them they can use whatever they want.

  6. A1: I would tell them to be fearless and that includes asking for help! Lean on you team and lift them up at the same time!

  11. Do your students help you make your sub plans? Just saw that and collaborated with their students to make sub plans. Super cool. 😎 If so, what's it look like? What do you do?

  12. A3: We meet in grade clusters sometimes. We pair up as well. We mentor newer teachers. We celebrate together a few times a year.

    Saw this in the hallway outside of Ms. Miller’s classroom and had to share! I love all the ways she empowers her students to be kind! They are creating a “chain reaction” when they share kindness with one another!

    Be respectful, kind, empathetic with your students and encourage them to embrace failure to achieve success. A1

    A1 If I could give a new just one piece of advice it would be to forget about trying to act like a teacher, be yourself & show your students that you care about them & what you teach- the rest you can learn as you grow!
