    😭 were the first organisation to take a chance on me and believe in my blog’s potential when they let me volunteer at WAY back in 2014!! Since then, I’ve been privileged to work with them numerous times so I’m so sad to hear they’ll be finishing😣

    On we are working with , a digital platform that provides a free and confidential listening service. ⁣ ⁣ It’s easy for us to say ‘it’s ok to talk’ but who will make the active step to build their skills in supporting themselves and those around them? 🌿

    Research suggests that reading for 30 minutes a week increases health and wellbeing. Reading for pleasure can improve confidence/self-esteem & can aid sleep and reduce feelings of loneliness. If you’d like to give it a go, join in our monthly 😸📚

    On Sunday I will be proudly wearing the t- shirt supporting work with mental health alongside our awesome program If you do nothing else on Sunday make time for a chat and just double check somebody is really OK

    So gutted to hear that ’s funding ends in March and they will close. Mental health awareness and support is needed now more than ever, and has been hugely positive. Such a sad state of affairs.

    Telling people that I’ve not been ok and in a horrible place has been really difficult. The people who’ve listened, made no judgements and who’ve just been there have made more of a difference than they’ll know. And that they’ve kept being there is massive ❤️

    On we invited staff to our HQ event to mark the day. Mental health problems affect 1 in 4 of us, yet we don't talk about it. Firefighter Dean Corney said: “We’re encouraging everyone to speak about mental health to change attitudes & reduce stigma.”
