    Jumping for joy because… we came third!!!!🥉 We’re beyond happy and can’t quite believe it. Massive congrats to our furry friends pekapeka for taking out the title and for the kākāpō in 2nd place. Big thanks to everyone who voted titipounamu!

    In 2019 we successfully helped translocate a handful of these little guys - the humble titipounamu - from Wainuiomata Mainland Island to ZEALANDIA, where they've been thriving since! Why not show them some love in this year’s bird of the year competition?

    Has to be titipoumanu. Sporting a coat in this years ‘it’ colour - green. Gorgeously cute. Titipoumanu has to be the underdog because this tiny little ball looks like a delicious hors d’oeuvre (for a cat).
