Hello
@WHO ! CRISPR has been used to create bacteria resistant to bacteriophages. Living bacteria can exchange genes horizontally, when they become resistant to antibiotics, bacteriophages are the last resort! @WHO ! We need more strict protocols and transparency on#Synbio ! A kill switch must become mandatory in every synbio experiment! https://harvardtothebighouse.com/2020/01/31/logistical-and-technical-analysis-of-the-origins-of-the-wuhan-coronavirus-2019-ncov/ … -

So how's the community lab going? Well terrible at the moment. It's difficult apparently to find a lab space when there's enough empty space in the uni
But hopefully we'll get around it soon
Any ideas are more than welcome! #communitylabstruggles#synbio#igem@igemathensPrikaži ovu nit -
There's no room for discrimination in science. And yes I consider "hiring" interns only with a biological background a form of discrimination and meritocracy. Why can't law or arts students do science? Why can't my cousin who's 13? Science really is just about passion.

Pretty cool research! Cement production makes up 8% of global CO2 emissions. It'd be so exciting to see biomineralization +

Scientists
@mpicbg have engineered a minimal synthetic cellular system to study basic cell function. The work is said to be "A major step forward in the design of more complex synthetic cells that can mimic biological behavior." Find out more here: http://bit.ly/2RIFxR5#synbio pic.twitter.com/Qm1ftTTQC6
