    Is it “almost unbelievable” for a council to act in accordance with the laws which govern them? I don’t think so. What’s more unbelievable is the goading by MPs such as for to break the laws which the parliament he is a member of sets.

    Casey is operating under the State Parliament’s Local Government Act - their hands are tied under legislation. A monitor was appointed to ensure councillors act lawfully. Local Gov’t inspectorate can take Sam Aziz to VCAT to have him stood down.
