    I love my team! Making Mars 2020 happen Bit by Bit. Tonight we celebrated, with our larger team, flight hardware deliveries completed and installed in the rover. Years of challenging, demanding, masterly work... & we still like each other!

    Second time's the charm? STS-79 (Atlantis) made its way back to the pad in 1996 after being rolled back to avoid Hurricane Bertha in July. As luck would have it, the shuttle would be rolled back again in September to avoid Hurricane Fran.

    We have debris fallout being picked up on radar (KVTX) from the rocket test failure off the coast of San Nicolas Island, CA. First echos were 19:53 UTC at ~20,000 ft. I'm sure they'll be back!

    Unfortunate and sad what happened with Chandrayaan 2. It blows my mind that the Soviet Union did this repeatedly nearly 50 years ago w/ robots and rovers, and some of them even lifted off from the Moon & returned to Earth w/ lunar soil.

    This is Mission Control Centre. descent was as planned and normal performance was observed up to an altitude of 2.1 km. Subsequently, communication from Lander to the ground stations was lost. Data is being analyzed.

    continues to track 2 objects @PeteAFB’s associated w/ launch from Iran, characterizing NOUR 01( 45529) as 3U Cubesat. Iran states it has imaging capabilities—actually, it’s a tumbling webcam in space; unlikely providing intel.
